It didn’t take long before I knew and noticed
the way I looked at you I thought you would know this.
I didn’t want to stare when I saw you standing there
my eyes spoke volumes when words were no where.
The way you smiled, and the way I tingled
you made me laugh with your giggle.
Only will time tell the story of you and me
only will time tell the story of our destiny.
For all of the reasons you caught me eye
are all the same reasons you are my kind of guy.
Through small talk and cordial meetings
nothing can deny the emotional feelings.
So silent but so loud
two hearts beating,
how I love the sound.
I wonder can you hear my thoughts,
as the thoughts hide inside my eyes…?
I wonder can you see the goose bumps upon my skin
as I smile, and I let you in…?
You embrace me in your thoughts
as our eyes lock,
a sound that can’t be fought.
When can we touch
when can I feel your breath upon my skin?
When will our bodies meet
when will we get the chance?
What if we never get to see this through
what if you remain just the guy from across the room?
Sometimes the silence is so loud
sometimes one can not escape the hearts pound.
The racing in my chest
the faint feeling at its best
the woozy tingle
the loss of breath.
The knees so weak
the heart skips a beat
the silence in the room when you’re around me.
The thoughts of you invade my mind
who knows what’s to come of…the across the room guy.
